Awesome place to stay! AMAZING views. Good quality place. Showers, hot tub, lake access (a bit of a walk). I stayed in the upstairs and it was hot for me since there’s no AC upstairs and it has been surprisingly warm and sunny for days! (I’d bet it’s not usually an issue.) Overall great!

I originally had a trip planned with a friend but had to last minute cancel the day of. Tabitha was kind enough to allow me to obtain a credit for the amount I paid to still be able to have a trip. She was very kind throughout the entire process. I ended up staying at the Caribou Cabin for the weekend and loved it. The views were great: Lake and Mountains. The cabin itself was nice and quiet - perfect for two people. Being that it was at the end of the season, Tabitha remained in contact with us throughout our stay to ensure we had a substantial water supply. Overall it was an amazing stay with an even better host.

We stayed in 2 of their small cabins. The cabins are clean and warm, with everything you need. We did how ever have problems with the beds. They are small, very soft, and tend to cave into the middle. Also, when you lay down, your head is slightly above your feet. The only other thing was the stairs getting into the cabins. They are very narrow with no hand rails. 2 of the people in our group weren't very steady on their feet and had trouble. But all in all, they served there purpose. Also, they have some breathtaking views!!!

Charming little cabin. It's equiped with modern facilities like flush toilets and mini kitchen, while still preserving a primitive feeling. There is a hot tub in the main lodge with a gorgeous view of the lake and surrounding mountains. I would recommend this place to anyone passing by. While the experience was overall positive, the unreliable WiFi equipment was a downside. I accidentally unplugged the repeater, and apparently it requires the owners to come in person to make it work again, but they were out of town during our stay. With phone signal being too weak to use in the area, it was hard to research for the rest of our trip. With reliable equipment being cheap and easily available, this should have been entirely avoidable.

The wolf cabin was adorable. The bed was super soft and very cozy. The boot warmer was a total added bonus. Communication with host was spot on. The outdoor hot tub was a pleasure for sore muscles. We didn't take advantage of the public use lake activities but we will next trip!

My family stayed in one of the cabins for a summer trip, and we loved it. The location was peaceful, and the kids enjoyed the nearby lake and activities. The staff were friendly too.

We were traveling to Valdez on a pretty spontaneous trip and had no accommodation planned until we reached the city. We were lucky that this lodge had space for the night. I was a tad apprehensive about sharing bathrooms, but to our luck we had the entire lodge to ourselves for a night. Either ways, the bathrooms were pretty clean. The views of the lake from the lodge were breathtaking. The sauna and hottub were a welcome addition. Decorations inside the lodge were really thoughtful. I don't really understand the complaints from others about the lodge being rustic, I mean isn't that what you come to Alaska for?! I would definitely stay at the place again.
